Core Values

Manna is committed to the following values:

Prayer

Sustained by prayer: Ephesians 6:18 - "Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints."

Worship

Devoted to worship: Psalm 145:3 - "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable."

Scripture

Grounded in the word: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 - "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

Fellowship

Joined in redemptive community: Hebrews 10:24-25 - "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

Jubilee

Joyful in work and rest: Psalm 16:11 - "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

Humility

Cultivating servant leadership: Galatians 5:13 - "For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

Wisdom

Fostering intellectual life: Colossians 2:3 - "In (Christ) are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

Shalom

Striving for the common good: Jeremiah 29:7 - "But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare."
